Topographic map of scale 1:10000 in Image (raster) format created by the Institute of Geography and Military Infrastructure (former ITU). The maps cover part of the territory of the Republic of Albania, part of the Western Lowlands as well as other plain and hilly regions, mainly of Central and Southern Albania. In the period 1980-1984, 379 trapeziums were published, in total with an average area of 24.5 km2 for each trapezium. The methods used are: stereophotogrammetric survey, photomechanical method (generalization), and the combined method (measuring with a compass and stereophotogrammetric), which was used only in some trapeziums on the border with Montenegro. The data are in conformity with the standard with the VKM No. 732, dated 27.11.2024, On the approval of the document "State Standards for Technical Specifications of Geospatial Information in Albania, Topic: Base Map".
