The Digital Terrain Model describes the three-dimensional shape of the Earth's surface, including all static features located on it. This product has benefited from the implementation of the project "Digital aerial photography of the territory of the Republic of Albania, production of oriented aerial photos, creation of LIDAR data, digital terrain model, orthophoto and training". This project was implemented by Decision of the Regional Development Committee no. 14 dated 23.09.2014 with funding from the Albanian Government. The data are in conformity with the standard with the Council of Ministers No. 398, dated 19.06.2019, On the approval of the document "State Standards for Technical Specifications of Geospatial Information in Albania - Topic: Digital terrain model".
