The infrastructure cadastre in the Republic of North Macedonia dates back to the 1990s, when the State Geodetic Office and the then mobile telephony companies "Macedonian Telecom" and "Cosmofon" concluded an agreement to conduct a geodetic survey of the actual condition of the location designated for the installation of equipment for mobile base stations, the installation of main optical cables, copper local area networks and other infrastructure facilities. The goal is for each detailed point to be recorded, thereby spatially defining it with Y, X, H coordinates.
