The set of geographical names of the Republic of North Macedonia according to the INSPIRE standard is a vector data set with points. It was developed in 2017 as a vector data set, and is part of the topographic database at a scale of 1:200,000, which was obtained by generalizing and simplifying the data from the topographic database at a scale of 1:25,000. The toponyms have been checked and confirmed by the Institute of the Macedonian Language, as well as by the Ministry of Culture - Administration for the Protection of Cultural Heritage. The geographical names are available in two versions: Cyrillic and Latin.
