The study on the protection of cultural and historical heritage for the Spatial Plan of the Special Feature of the Protected Landscape "Trebević" also offered guidelines for the interpretation of heritage in the context of space, i.e. defining basic themes and important information about the Protected Landscape "Trebević", which should be presented through the interpretative infrastructure, in a didactic and interactive manner. The applied methodology is based on a professional planning and project approach and research and analytical work, on the basis of which guidelines for the protection and use of cultural assets within the planning document were defined, but also laid the foundations for further research and the formation of heritage products. In this way, in addition to the revitalization of specific heritage objects, better utilization of the heritage values of the space and the formation of a complete heritage product will be enabled, and the content and experience of visitors will be enriched in a modern way by enabling them to discover, explore, observe, analyze, feel, experience, understand and appreciate this mountain. This approach raises awareness of heritage values, creates conditions for sustainable long-term preservation, but also changes the perception of heritage as a restrictive component of spatial planning.
