By declaring part of the Konjuh mountain to the category of protected landscape, the preconditions have been created for the implementation of a modern concept of protection and rational use of precious natural resources, which are based on the concept of sustainable and permanent development, which requires changes in attitudes, from the local to the state level, with the application of environmental standards. The Spatial Plan of the Area of Special Features Protected Landscape "Konjuh" for the period 2010-2030, considering the significant natural and cultural-historical features, establishes the basic organization of space, measures for the use, development and protection of that area with priority activities, measures for the improvement and protection of the environment, and prescribes the obligation to prepare detailed planning documents.
