The natural and created conditions in the area of the Municipality of Gornji Vakuf - Uskoplje point to the conclusion that their more complete and well-designed use, along with the application of new technologies, can achieve significantly greater effects in material development. This is particularly evidenced by: geotraffic location, quality waters and their energy potential, mineral raw materials, agricultural and forest areas, and preserved natural beauty and landscapes.
Analizom stanja prostorno-planske dokumentacije koja je izvršena od strane Službe za prostorno planiranje, imovinsko pravne poslove i katastar općine Gornji Vakuf – Uskoplje, utvrđeno je da postoji zakonski osnov za donošenje odluke o njegovom produženju. Produžava se rok važnosti Prostornog plana Općine Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje koji je usvojen za vremensko razdoblje od 2010. do 2020. godine („Službeni glasnik Općine Gornji vakuf-Uskoplje“, broj: 4/11 i 3/16), izrađen od strane „EKO – PLAN“ d.o.o Mostar i Instituta za građevinarstvo „IG“ d.o.o. Banja Luka, do 2030. godine.
