Based on contract number 02-06-85/1-04 from 01.-04. 2004. the development of the "SPICIAL PLAN OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF VITEZ" was initiated, that is, the development of the first phase of the "SPICIAL BASIS WITH THE BASIC CONCEPT". The development of the SPATIAL BASIS of the Municipality of Vitez was carried out in accordance with the Law on Spatial Planning and the Instruction on the Mandatory and Unified Methodology for the Development of Development Plans, taking into account the commitment of the modern world to sustainable development, protection, development and rational use of space and resources.
Prostorni plan Općine Vitez 2020.godine urađen je na osnovu Ugovora br. 02-06-85/1-04. od 01.04.2004.godine urađena je prva faza Prostornog plana. Dopisom broj 02-23-669/05 prihvaćena je dokumentacija Prostorne osnove, te se pristupilo izradi druge faze Prostornog plana Općine Vitez 2020.g. Druga faza izrade Prostornog plana Općine Vitez 2020.g. NACRT PLANA obrazložen je pred Komisijom za praćenje izrade Prostornog plana Općine Vitez, pred Općinskim vijećem i bio je izložen na uvid građanstvu mjesec dana. Primjedbe sa javne rasprave dostavljene su pod brojem: 02-23-1121/06.
