Units for distribution or use of statistical information. The register of spatial units is a record in which data on spatial units are kept and maintained. Data on spatial units in accordance with regulations are maintained by the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Legal Affairs, the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning, the Institute for Public Administration, the Federal Institute for Statistics and competent municipal services. The register of spatial units contains names and alphanumeric data for the following spatial units: Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, cantons, local self-government units, settlements, local communities, statistical circles and census circles. The above data are entered in the Register of Spatial Units from the official documents of bodies that make decisions and other acts in accordance with regulations on settlements.
