The scope of the urban project "Karaotok" is located in the use zone and is defined as a tourist zone for which the creation of an urban project is prescribed. The Assembly of the Herzegovina-Neretva County/Canton, at its session of 29/12/2020, passed the Decision on the approach to the development of the Urban Project of the tourist zone "Karaotok" within the area of special characteristics for the area of importance for the Herzegovina-Neretva County/Canton Nature Park "Hutovo Blato". The decision was published in the official gazette "Narodne novine HNŽ/K", number: 9/20, Annex 1. By the decision in question, the Ministry of Construction and Spatial Planning of the Herzegovina-Neretva County/Canton (hereinafter: "Preparation Authority") was designated as the holder of the preparation for the Urban Planning Project of the tourist zone "Karaotok" within the area of special characteristics for the area of importance for the Herzegovina-Neretva County/Canton Nature Park "Hutovo Blato" (hereinafter: Urban Project "Karaotok"), where the obligation of the Holder of Preparation to prepare the project task for the development of the Urban Project "Karaotok" is established.
